Call me Jack.

There's quite a bit I suppose I could say here, but I'll trim it down to what's relevant to this blog. I've spent the majority of my life overweight, morbidly obese even, and holding a strong hatred for vegetables and most healthy foods, the likes of which I bet are unrivaled by anything you've seen so far. Recently, I've been able to make many changes to my life. I can't say it's been easy, but I've cut junk food almost entirely, incorporated a lot more produce into my diet, and basically had to change the way I think about food. I've lost around 70 pounds! In this process, I developed a newfound love for experimenting and trying out different and new recipes, especially those that give a healthier twist to "traditional" recipes; that's why this blog exists. I'm here to hopefully share this love in the form of the various recipes I've tried, tested, and approved. I've got quite a few to post on here, and I'm still messing around with a whole bunch of different ideas and combinations, so stay tuned for each upcoming recipes.

What will this blog contain?

Like I said, I'm here to upload and share the various recipes I've come to find a good use of time and ingredients. These recipes, specifically, will generally be intended to be healthy. Low calorie, low carb, low fat, but still good food that you'll love to know are good for you, too. You can expect to see quite a few recipes for well known food with healthier ingredients and substitutions, and also original dishes presenting hopefully interesting ways to eat your veggies.
